Founded in 2009, Wind Energy Holding was the first mover in Thailand’s domestic wind industry, securing over 42% of the country’s original 1.8 GW wind power quota. After WEH obtained the requisite quota, WEH went on to build the country’s first two commercial scale wind farms – the 207MW FKW and KR2 projects.

“Wind Energy Holding” or WEH is Thailand’s first and largest developer and operator of wind power plants. The company successfully developed the West Huay Bong 3 Wind Power Project with an istalled capacity of 103.5 megawatts, which became Thailand’s first commercial wind power facility in 2012.
Currently, WEH operates 8 onshore wind power projects with a total installed capacity of 717 megawatts.
